Stand by while I humour myself; for today, you won't know what I'm talking about, unless you know what I'm talking about. :)
Stand by (while we check the weather)
Too many clouds (...in B.C.!)
Another mission denied (no surprise)
Rescuers save the day (again)
Spangle gets the credit (and takes it)
Is it any coincidence, that the definition of "spangle" is:
-a small, thin, often circular piece of metal...
-any small, bright drop, object or spot.
Have yourselves a very merry day!

Dare 2 B Inspired!
I have a challenge for all of you... For the next week, and yes, I mean SEVEN days, live like you were dying. Okay, now you can't just not show up to work, or stop paying your bills, I get that. But you CAN make a conscious effort to think about what you want out of life and make the time to do it.
You see, life isn't about what comes to us; it's about what we go out and find in life. There's a whole world, literally, waiting to be explored and discovered. It doesn't matter what you are into, there is always something that makes us smile. It's up to us to find out what it is, and then reach out and grab it! The possibilities are endless!
The point is, we never know when our lives will change, or how. LIFE IS SHORT! So be memorable! Theres no doubt that people will remember you; some people will remember you for a week, some for fifty years (some even for only an hour!) Will you be remembered as the one who always pursued their dreams? Or the one who always complained about the misfortunes of life? Get over yourself! We all have "stuff" to deal with - smell the roses in between the "stuff," 'cause "stuff" always sorts itself out.
Think, and make a list- what things do you want to do/achieve/see before you die? Decide what items you can do tomorrow, this week, this month, this year, etc. Make it a priority, cause you just never know. XO

What are you working for?
Have you ever stopped to think, "What am I working for?"
The obvious answer would be to pay bills, but there's got to be something more than working to pay bills, to work harder to pay more bills, to buy more toys, to pay things off, just to go back to work...
I started thinking about all this a few months ago, when I noticed how many of my friends and coworkers were continually commenting on how much I travel. I hear everything from, "You must make too much money," to, "You can do that... 'cause you don't have kids," and, "It must be nice not to have any responsibilities so you can travel so much." I was really insulted. Anyone who knows me knows that I would love to be happily married and have babies to wake up every morning to, but that just hasn't become part of my life yet. And to say I don't have responsibilities?! I have a career that demands continual training, I support a household on one income; I am responsible for many things.
I LOVE to travel and therefore I do it as often as I can, whether it be an all-inclusive in Mexico and Cuba, or backpacking in Rwanda and the Serengeti. I get to do it not because I have no kids, or no responsibilities, or because I make too much money, but because I make it a priority in my life because it is important to me.
I began to realize the "trap" that people get caught in. It becomes a continual circle of working to pay bills to work to pay bills to work... AHHH! It makes a person dizzy! Until we can somehow manage to step back, look into our "circle" from the outside, and ask ourselves, "What am I working for?"
We all have bills, and payments, and unexpected financial problems that arise, but we also all have dreams, hopes, and aspirations that we need to see, do and feel. I believe it's when we push ourselves to the back burner, forgetting about our hopes and dreams, that we get in this circle or rut. And that causes us to become depressed, unsatisfied and unmotivated.
What are your dreams, goals, and hopes? What makes you smile inside and feel good? Write it down, and then make a plan to make it happen! MAKE YOURSELF A PRIORITY. It doesn't mean that you will be able to find your dream job tomorrow, or take the vacation you've always wanted next week, but when you know what you're working for, what you're striving towards and how you're going to get there, it's unbelieveable how light, motivated and positive you feel!
I have always said, "You're the only person who has to live with yourself your entire life!" You can't expect others to make you happy, if you don't know what makes you happy! So decide what makes you jump, bounce, smile, and do cartwheels, and do it!
